Macro-United Conference

What is the Macro-United Conference?

The theme for 2021 was "The Power of Macro Social Work: Forging Pathways Toward a More Just and Equitable World".
The 2021 Macro-United Conference was held virtually on Thursday June 3; Thursday June 10th; and Thursday June 17th.

Due to COVID, we are moving our efforts to planning for the 2023 spring/summer. Please join ISP and join our members mailing group for more information.

Our next conference will be held in 2023. Please check back for more information.

The first-ever MACRO-UNITED Virtual Conference was held in June 2021. Presenters grappled with complex social problems, shared policy and practice research and projects, and built social work partnerships to advance social justice, racial equity, and social change in these challenging times. We are grateful to our organizational partners: ACOSA, CRISP, Grand Challenges for Social Work, ISP, Clark-Fox Policy Institute, #MACROSW, Social Justice Initiative, Special Commission to Advance Macro Practice in Social Work, and University of Houston.
